First Lady Bun Rany Tours Indonesia with her ASEAN Counterparts

INDONESIA: Cambodian First Lady Bun Rany toured the luxurious seaside resort of Labuan Bajo, Indonesia alongside the first ladies of Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore on May 10, 2023.

The delegation of first ladies was warmly and cordially greeted by their Indonesian counterpart, First Lady Joko Widodo at a traditional welcoming ceremony. During the tour of Labuan Bajo, the wives of ASEAN heads-of-state sipped tea and listened to songs and dances by a group of children from the city, relating to the daily life of the people there.

First Lady Bun Rany was very interested in the song and dance performances related to the beautiful coastal area, the life of the people, and the boat culture of the people of Labun Bajo. Upon saying goodbye to First Lady Joko Widodo, Bun Rany expressed her desire to return to Indonesia as she is fascinated by its natural beauty and coastal areas.
